Multi-talented Rihanna was born in Barbados in 1988 and is known for being a singer, songwriter, actress, fashion designer, and businesswoman after founding her own successful makeup line, Fenty Beauty. Since then, her Billboard chart-topping hits have included Take A Bow, Disturbia, Rude Boy, Only Girl (In The World), What’s My Name?, S&M, We Found Love, Diamonds, and Work. She has worked and collaborated with musicians including Drake, Calvin Harris, N.E.R.D., Kanye West, Paul McCartney, and David Guetta, and is also known for her interests in fashion and beauty.

She is the third most awarded female artist ever at the American Music Awards, where she has won the favorite female artist – soul/ R&B award seven times, along with the favorite soul/R&B gong for Loud, Talk That Talk, and Anti. She has won a number of Billboard awards and was named the International Female Solo Artist at the BRITs in 2011 and 2012. She has also won a number of Grammys, including awards for Run This Town, Only Girl (In The World), Umbrella, We Found Love, The Monster, and Loyalty. She was named the Humanitarian of the Year at the Harvard Foundation for Interracial and Cultural Relations in 2017.
